City Living, Rhode Island Style
Providence offers everything from historic multi-family homes and condos to single-family neighborhoods, with restaurants, colleges, hospitals and the arts all close by.
It’s also a strong market for investors and first-time buyers looking at multi-family homes. I’ve sold homes in Providence and next door in Pawtucket.

Established neighborhoods with multi-family and single-family homes, like 195 Ontario Street, where I represented the sale.
Pawtucket, Next Door
Just north of Providence, with more space for the money. I sold 180 Webster Street here.

What Buyers Should Check
- Inspections first. Older homes and newer builds both deserve a full inspection, including septic or sewer and the roof.
- Flood and insurance. Ask for a flood zone check and an insurance quote early, especially near rivers, ponds or the bay.
- Taxes and commute. Compare property taxes and map your daily drive before you fall in love with a house.
- The real monthly cost. I walk every buyer through taxes, insurance and the full payment at today’s rates.
